In Person

Nothing is better than meeting a new face or seeing a old friend. I find myself saying "Oh that's your call sign. Great to put a face with the call!" We socialize at our meetings, open hours, and other events throughout the year.

Program for March 2, 2023 Meeting is....

For SVRC's Thursday, March 2 meeting, we're tapping into the expertise of techno expert Michael Walker, VA3MW, for a live, two-way on-screen conversation to learn more about how and why Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology is the hottest new must-have for ham radio operators. Walker is the Customer and Training Manager for Texas-based FlexRadio, a pioneer in the design and development of SDR. As in recent months, the meeting will be held in one of the spacious and technology-equipped meeting rooms on the main floor of South Side Christian Church, 2600 S.

2,100 SVRC Historical Photos Now Available

Thanks in large part to Ben Kiningham, a massive collection of over 2,100 historical photos of the SVRC and related projects is now available to anyone!  These photos are of club activities, private ham shacks, hamfests, radios, tours, sponsored events, faces, faces, and more faces!  These photos have been sitting in a file collecting dust for a long, long time and have now been digitized and compiled on a single DVD.

Who knows - maybe you'll see a younger version of yourself. I did!

Here’s how you can get yours for a small donation!
