Description:
COVID-19, of course, put the club's 2020 Field Day on hold, but not coordinated individual participation as outlined by ARRL and updated for 2021.
While we're not ready to go full force, you'll be able to taste at least some flavor of Field Day, albeit in front of your computer screen.
"We'll try to offer some sense of past years, at least the social end," noted event chair Bakunas, albeit virtually. Though we still can't gather for the annual Saturday night pot luck/barbecue/picnic dinner in one location, you (and family members) can still share the supper experience and online by going to meet.google.com/gvo-fjwj-zed starting at 6 p.m. And if the band suddenly opens, and you sign out, we'll understand."
